Report

Each of the UL System鈥檚 nine member institutions have developed and implemented long-standing, successful initiatives aimed at supporting historically underserved populations. To bring these institutional efforts to scale, System-level coordination is required. The resulting Reginald F. Lewis Educational Opportunity Initiative allows for targeted synergies for opportunity-focused programs and resources to be housed at the System level. The report provides an update of our work.

Workplace Inclusion Taskforce

Charged with evaluating how the System and its universities implement policies designed to encourage inclusion and respect for diversity among students, employees and constituents, its analysis produces recommendations to help the System provide an educational environment and workplace that is welcoming to all.

Chief Diversity Officers

CDOs are responsible for cultivating an environment that encourages and supports diversity on campus.
This often includes developing and incorporating inclusion initiatives, such as organization-wide diversity training and multicultural events.
